£249.00

Price is per Birthing Couple

Comprehensive birth education and hypnobirthing training with Suzanne, an experienced midwife and birth educator. Suzanne has extensive experience of birth, having attended over 1000 births of every description. In this jam-packed day, we will cover:

  • Birth hormones - how strongly they affect a birth, and how you can use them to have the best chance at a normal birth

  • Creating your birth environment - how to, and why it is important

  • How to use breathing techniques, relaxation and visualisation to stay calm during the birth - no matter what is happening

  • Everything birth partners can do to support you - while you concentrate on birthing

  • Tips on transferring to hospital while staying “in the zone”

  • How to navigate the maternity care system, and how to cope with the unexpected

  • Birth physiology! What actually happens to your body when you give birth, and how best to help it along

  • How to work with your NHS birth team

  • How a newborn handles labour, and transitioning to life outside the womb

  • Countless health tips on staying well during pregnancy, preparing your body for birth, and healing afterward

You’ll receive downloadable hypnosis tracks, a pdf book, course info from the day and regular communications from Suzanne to help you to integrate your learning and be ready for one of the biggest events of your life.

You will also have access to Suzanne’s advice throughout pregnancy, if plans or situations change, using the tools from the training.
