I found the positive mindset you taught us in hypnobirthing really helpful during the birth and I was able to focus on contractions being positive, that they were doing the right thing and although super painful every contraction was one closer to it all being over. Tom was really good at helping me get back on track if it was becoming too much. We worked together like you taught us and it worked really well, particularly during transition and when I was getting tired.

We thoroughly enjoyed the course and found it so useful. I feel I learned more in this class about labour and how to cope than I did in the NHS antenatal classes. I would recommend this class to any pregnant person. I feel so much more confident about my birth and feel that if I keep practicing the techniques I will be able to keep myself calm during labour. My husband also feels more confident about his role in the birth and how he can best support me through it which is great.

I honestly can't tell you how helpful both the yoga and hypnobirthing were for labour/pregnancy - I focussed on my breathing most of labour using the breathing we did in yoga, I was pretty much silent until my body started pushing and found it was really easy to zone out and be totally focussed which I'd never have expected.
